A professional tool to manage a lawn care business. It helps with scheduling lawn care appointments, equipment maintenance times and more.
Features: First and foremost, the Lawn Service Assistant, enables a user or manager to keep track of individual schedules for a number of individual employees. These may be employees of the same type or individuals who each carry out different tasks. The left pane lists out each of these employees and clicking on a tick mark shows / hides their daily schedule on the right pane in the scheduler tab. In the customers tab, the information about each and every customer can be added (customers are then identified by name on the schedule tab as individual appointments). The history of each and every customer is automatically saved over time and can be accessed easily simply by clicking on the required customer from within the customers tab. The Work-Order tab is where work orders are created. These show up as appointments on the schedule tab.
The schedule tab makes it easy for the manager to find a best fit according to availability of an individual employee and it enables an individual employee to manage his / her itinerary according to the schedule. There is an interface that helps with the calculation of fees to be charged and the printing of invoices. The system can be programmed to generate automated reminders to alert a given employee about an upcoming appointment. Schedules can also be exported to Outlook as well as to a number of different formats including HTML, Excel, TXT, and XML for use with other utilities (say a web-based system). Automatic backup and restore features protect against crashes.
Overall: This is an ideal tool for those who are in the lawn care business. It features an easy and intuitive interface that does not require too much computer knowledge on the part of the user. Most things are readily available on the interface as tabs, including backup and restore features. Not much to complain about.
